On the other hand, according to the report, most of these new cryptocurrency millionaires in 2024 are Bitcoin investors, although this is due to the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, factors that boosted the growth of these individuals' wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to data provided by the report, there are now 172,300 people worldwide who own more than< u$s1 million in cryptoassets (a 95% increase compared to last year) and the number of Bitcoin millionaires soared by 111% to 85,400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this data it is impossible not to think about how real it is to become a millionaire if you invest in BTC or whether Bitcoin or Ether ETFs are really a good bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pablo Monti Brand Manager Europe and Latam at BingX, explains to that \u2018it must first be understood that investing in a Bitcoin ETF gives the investor exposure to the price of the cryptoasset and not direct ownership of it\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018This means that the investor is not directly buying BTC and will not be able to exchange it for other cryptocurrencies, as they could if they were to invest directly in the cryptoasset,\u2019 he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monti points out that \u2018as in the traditional financial market, what happens is positive for some investors and negative for others who prefer to own the asset directly\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monti adds that \u2018the popular imagination that makes many people think that Bitcoin is a millionaire-making machine\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He adds: \u2018The same imaginary makes many other people fear cryptocurrencies as highly risky and volatile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018In the case of Bitcoin, there is no defined person behind the project, but that is precisely the magic of BTC; a massive project, which everyone can be part of and which is regulated by thousands of people all over the world,\u2019 he concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
